Casio Privia PX-780 88-key Digital Piano at a Glance:
To reproduce the sound of the finest acoustic grand pianos, the new Privia series features Casio's proprietary AiR (Acoustic and intelligent Resonator) processor. Accessing more than three times the memory of the previous generation, the AiR processor utilizes grand piano samples recorded at four dynamic levels of sampling to deliver grand piano sounds with long natural decays and remarkable expression. To further the grand piano experience, AiR adds realism by simulating the sound of the open strings when the dampers are raised by the pedal.
Duet Mode makes this instrument perfect for lessonsIn addition to the excellent keyboard action and piano sound, the Privia PX-780 is the perfect instrument for music education. Featuring Casio's Duet mode, the keyboard can be split into two equal ranges, allowing student and teacher to play at the keyboard simultaneously.
USB connection and 17-track recorder open up your possibilitiesWhile it's easy to connect the PX-780 to your computer via USB, you can also easily create and compose music using internal 17-track recorder. Using the PX-780's 250 onboard sounds and 180 rhythms, you can record up to 17 tracks. Accepting USB memory, you can save your songs and take them with you or load standard MIDI files that you've downloaded from the web. With these flexible tools you can capture moments of creativity and remember song ideas. It also works great as a practice tool. A built-in metronome and optional accompaniment mean you can practice in time and later listen back to what you just played. You can even plug in other instruments or an MP3 player into the keyboard and hear it through the internal speakers and headphones.
