Guild Vintage 1971 D-35 NT w/Original Hardcase
Can't afford the Martin D-18? Then snatch this puppy up & go home happy, cuz it's every bit as good. With a brilliant, powerful voice along with warm, rich tones coupled with a beautiful resonance, this gorgeous D-35NT is a definite must-have for any player of any caliber. It's a no frills dreadnought, but every bit as dynamic & determined as the more expensive models out there. Guilds have been the underdogs to Martin & Gibson far too long & should never be overlooked. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Obviously used, with typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great, true vintage look to it with a wonderful patina.
Neck: Medium-profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-back strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought with solid spruce top. Rosewood bridge with cream end pins. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides with cream end pin.
Case: Original Vintage hardshell case.
